With the gorgeous, unimaginably talented Jane Porter at the RWA annual literacy booksigning. I’ve admired her for years, and can hardly believe we now write for the same line, Harlequin Presents!!

And here I am holding my first RITA! Okay, okay, it doesn’t actually belong to me! (Ouch, ouch, you choked it out of me!) I just got to hold it as a RITA presenter. And the 2007 winner for Best Traditional Romance is… Barbara Hannay! (I was just keeping it warm for you, Barbara, promise!)

At the Presents Authors dinner with Harlequin Mills & Boon executive editor Tessa Shapcott. I just wish I’d gotten a picture of everyone at the table! Let’s see… also attending were Sandra Marton, Trish Wylie, editor Kimberley Young, Harlequin author Jenna Bayley-Burke, Marion Lennox, and Jane Porter. The elegant, fun dinner was my single favorite experience of the 2007 RWA conference. Such a wonderful group of women! (Thanks to Marion Lennox for many of these photos!)

Here’s another great photo taken by Marion…there was a Ferrari parked outside our restaurant! Aiiii!! I could hardly believe my eyes! Tessa, Sandra and I jumped to get our picture taken with it. A red Ferrari = my #1 favorite “hero” car. It was like posing with a dangerous Greek billionaire in the flesh!!!
